PSD leader invites Vlad Filat to public debates on present and future
The leader of the Social-Democratic Party (PSD) Victor Shelin invites the chairman of the Liberal-Democratic Party Vlad Filat to public debates to discuss important problems for society so that the people could make a correct choice on November 28, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“It was a good gesture, but addressed to the wrong person,” Victor Shelin said about Vlad Filat's invitation to public debates made to the Communist leader Vladimir Voronin. “You, together with the party you head, initiated the drive “Moldova without Voronin, Moldova without Communists”, but now want Voronin as a partner for discussions and analyses,” Victor Shelin said.
The PSD says the Communists Party had ruled during eight years, while the Alliance for European Integration – about one year and a half . Thus, the debates between the PLDM and PCRM would have been between the past and present, while the people need a safe, democratic and prosperous future,” it is said in the invitation to Vlad Filat.
The Social-Democrat leader invites Vlad Filat to public debates on the present and future. “As chairman of the PSD, I propose you such a discussion and if you are not afraid of an extra-parliamentary party, show the Moldovan people that you are ready for debates and that the political class has changed,” Victor Shelin said.
He also said the debates can be moderated by any person who wants to put questions.
