PSD asks state to support real sector more in time of crisis

The Social-Democratic Party (PSD) says that, in time of crisis, the Moldovan authorities should support the real sector of economy more. Victor Selin, a PSD member, is quoted by Info-Prim Neo, as saying one cannot speak about liberalizing the economy. The news conference was held on Wednesday, March 4. He says the Government should see it as a key priority to stimulate the local producers and to decrease the imports. He says the producers must be provided preferential loans on contest basis. Victor Selin is the third on the PSD list of candidates for the parliament. Ruslan Barladeanu, the seventh on the list, says the constructions sector needs more support. The PSD proposes to set up a state company to deal with buying dwellings for a 25-year-old term, with an annual interest rate of 7%. According to him, the constructions investors will rather halt their works than decrease the prices of apartments. Igor Lupulciuc, a deputy mayor of Chisinau, has said the crisis in the real sector also strikes the social sector. The PSD maintains that, in case the governance does not implement these steps till the elections, the new team coming to power will do them.
