Citizens who applied for an identity card between September 20 and October 17 can pick up the document earlier, until October 18, regardless of the paid charge, IPN reports.
“In connection with the election to the office of President of the Republic of Moldova and the national constitutional referendum of October 20, the Public Services Agency urges the voting-eligible citizens of the Republic of Moldova to check the validity of the identity documents they hold and to take action to exchange them until election day if they are not valid,” reads a message from the institution.
On election day, October 20, the multifunctional centers of the PSA will work according to a special program – from 07:00 a.m. until 09:00 p.m.. At the request of Moldovan citizens older than 18, provisional identity cards will be issued and the made identity cards will be handed over.
