The people protesting in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau have also reasonable demands, which the government should take into consideration and these demands refer to reforms. The issue was developed in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.
Teo Carnat, who is a member of the Supreme Council of Magistrates, said the reformation of the justice sector is the demand on which the government should focus first of all. “The goal of the justice sector reform must be to make sure that each person who goes to court will be made justice,” he stated.
Lawyer Roger Gladei considers the justice sector reform is the main reform on which the authorities should concentrate attention. “The general message refers to the justice reform and the authorities should take this message into account. The reforms are very necessary, while the Government must work harder in this regard,” he stated.
Constitutional law expert Vitalie Gamurari pleaded for a dialog between society and the government. “There must be a dialogue between the police class and civil society. The rulers must ultimately understand that they are at the service of society. Things in our country stand in a different way. The politicians consider that the taxpayers are those who should thank them for the fact that they govern. The discrepancy between society and the political class is very great,” he said.
Media analyst Cristian Tabara accused civil society of lacking initiative. “Moldovan civil society does not have initiative. The business sector is also very feeble. That’s why the political class is not pressed into doing reforms,” he said.
