The National Movement for People is protesting next to the Parliament Building where the new Government led by Dorin Recean is to be given a vote of confidence. The protesters gathered in the central park of Chisinau and then walked to the backyard of the Parliament Building, IPN reports.

The protesters carried placards saying “PAS cheated us. It’s time to sign!”, “Sign and pay the bills”. They demanded that the government should pay the population’s bills for the energy resourced consumed in the winter season.



The police prevented the protesters from coming close to the Parliament Building while the protesters were chanting “We are the people!”:, “We want justice!”, “We don’t want war!”.
