Prosecutor’s Office lodged over 100 appeals against Chisinau administrations’ decisions in less than two years
The Prosecutor’s Office of Chisinau over 2006 and the first eight months of 2007 submitted 112 appeals against decisions made by the City Council and City Hall and against ordinances issued by the mayor general and other normative documents, the local councillors learned at the meeting of September 6.
A number of 67 appeals were lodged in 2006 and 45 in the first eight months of this year. Forty-one of them or over one third concern decisions taken by the City Council, 26 – decisions made by the City Hall and 14 the mayor generals’ ordinances. The other appeals concern legal proceedings, construction authorizations, urbanism certificates etc.
One fourth of the appeals were accepted and 35% rejected. A part of the appeals are waiting to be examined by the court, others got preliminary answers and the rest are being processed.
Some 34% of the appeals deal with normative documents regulating land relations and over 30% concern the non-observance of construction rules etc.
