The Superior Council of Prosecutors at its meeting today decided to hold a General Assembly on November 19, IPN reports.

The highlights on the Assembly’s agenda will be the election of new members to the Council, and of members to the Council’s three specialty boards.

Council president Angela Motuzoc recalled that the term of the current Council members, who were elected on 17 November 2019, expires this December.

On 28 May 2020, an attempt to hold the Prosecutors’ General Assembly failed because of the coronavirus restrictions.
