Members of “Prosanatatea” Club visited the medical personnel of a number of medical and sanitary institutions in Chisinau on Sunday and congratulated them on the occasion of the Day of the Medical Worker and Pharmacist, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We want to thank the doctors for their work because they deserve it. It is a small gesture, but we hope they liked it. We wish them to bear their status with dignity,” Petru Chitanu, a member of “Prosanatatea” Club, said at the Mother and Child Center, which was one of the visited institutions. “”Prosanatatea” Club stages such a flashmob event for the first time. It is intended for the medical staff that is on duty today. It is a weekend day, but they work. We came to wish them good luck, but also to sensitize civil society. There are people who work hardly and deserve more attention, including as regards the remuneration and work conditions,” said Mircea Buga, director of the National Health Insurance Company. “”Prosanatatea” Club has prepared another 25-30 activities that will be carried out during the next three months. On June 19, members of “Prosanatatea” also visited the National Scientific and Practical Center of Emergency Medicine and the Municipal Children’s Hospital “V. Ignatenko”. The Day of the Medical Worker and Pharmacist is celebrated on the third Sunday of June.
