The Chisinau Municipal Council excluded the proposal to appoint Silvia Radu and Ruslan Codreanu as deputy mayors of Chisinau from the agenda of its October 31 meeting, IPN reports.

A number of 29 councilors voted for the removal of the issue from the agenda.

Silvia Radu is the former director of Gas Natural Fenosa. She ran for the office of President of Moldova in 2016. Ruslan Codreanu is a municipal councilor.

The Chisinau administration includes four posts of deputy mayor, three of which are vacant.
