The Parliament’s legal commission for appointments and immunities approved the report on the bill to amend a number of regulations for the second reading. The bill extends the period of editing judicial documents by 15 days to 45 days, IPN reports.

The legislative proposal was formulated by the Association of Judges of the Republic of Moldova on the initiative of the commission’s head Vasile Bolea. Its goal is to ensure that any decision is intelligible and edited in clear and plain language.

The bill is to be given a second reading by Parliament.
