Promo-LEX signals out irregularities in using mobile ballot box
The Promo-LEX association finds irregularities in using mobile ballot boxes. It issues a communique reading that a man introducing himself as the president of the War and Labor Association took voter lists to three polling stations in Causeni town and asked for the mobile ballot box to be taken to their houses. At least a person on those lists maintains he has already voted and did not ask for the mobile box, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Collective requests for the mobile ballot box were traced by Promo-LEX observers in Stefan Voda district, the villages of Talmaza, Antonesti and Caplani. In Parata village, Dubasari district, the mayor was the man to go with the mobile ballot box, without informing observers. And his route remains unknown,” the communique reads.
Promo-LEX monitors the elections in seven constituencies, in a project carried out within the Coalition for Free and Fair Elections – Coalition 2009. About 270 observers are deployed in territories, in Floresti, Rezina, Dubasari, Anenii Noi, Causeni, Stefan Voda and the Transnistrian area.
