The Observation Mission of Promo-LEX identified at least 20 cases of organized transportation of voters to polling stations until 2pm. In total, the mission’s observers by this hour reported 340 incidents, 266 of which were processed by the central mission. There were reported 36 cases of photographing of ballots and other violations related to the secrecy of ballot. Twenty-four of the cases referred to the presence of advertising materials and campaign posters not far from polling stations, while 21 cases to the interruption of filming of electoral operations, IPN reports.
Promo-LEX reported 16 cases of unjustified presence of unauthorized persons inside polling places or with100 meters of these, 15 cases of unjustified group voting, 14 cases of deficiencies in electoral rolls, 12 cases of campaigning or black PR within 100 meters from polling stations or inside polling stations to influence the voters’ choice, 12 cases of malfunctioning of the State Automated Information System “Alegeri” (“Elections”) and ten cases of rumors, attempts or even situation of financial or non-financial rewards. In nine cases, the ballots weren’t sealed up according to procedures.
The report also mentions by one case of restriction of access to polling stations for voters without a mask and non-observance of the COVID –19 protection measures.
