The public transport in nine districts of Moldova was suspended or reduced on April 24, when a protest was mounted in Chisinau. Most of these districts are located in the center and south of Moldova. An analysis of the work of public transport was carried out by the Association “Promo-LEX”, IPN reports.

The Association made the analysis in order to monitor the right to free movement and the freedom of assembly and association. Thus, the Association’s experts obtained information about the work of public transport in 27 districts on April 24. No information has been yet furnished from the other seven districts.

The monitoring was performed at national level an covered the period between 12 noon and 3pm.
