31 projects, with a total funding of 15 million lei, have been implemented over the past year for the population in the perimeter of the Security Zone. The money was granted to the central and local public authorities through the Program of Reintegration Activities for 2024, IPN reports.

Similarly, the Dubasari Rayon Council received 4.6 million lei to partially compensate some expenses incurred by the owners of agricultural land located along the Ribnitsa-Tiraspol route. This is due to the imposition by Tiraspol of illegal payments when transporting crops or seed material through unauthorized checkpoints in the Security Zone.

"The beneficiaries of the Program were obliged to carry out the set activities, as intended, until the end of the year, and after the end of the budget year they were obliged to submit annual reports to the State Chancellery on the use of allocated funds," the Reintegration Policy Office said.

A total of 581 projects worth more than 194 million lei were financed under the Reintegration Activities Program in 2011-2024.
