Progress Chisinau needed extra time to win Moldova’s Futsal Cup for the third time. In the final played in Ciorescu, the team trained by Dorin Coceban beat Atletico 2-1, IPN reports.
Sergiu Muntean opened the score in the 13th minute, while Yevgheny Natskovski tied in the 27th minute. In overtime, the same Muntean brought the victory to Progress by a goal scored in the 43rd minute. The final hosted by Futsal Arena FMF was watched by 500 spectators.
Progress also won Moldova’s Cup in 2013 and 2015. During the last two years, it also won the title of champion.
