The Center “Partnership for Development” (CPD), in partnership with the International Labor Organization, implements a support program to formalize the work of carers looking after children under three. The goal of the program is to offer support and essential resources to child care professionals, contributing this way to improving the quality of the provided services, IPN reports.
“Our program is devoted to all the persons aged at least 18 who want to take carer of children aged up to three. Either you are a beginner or already have experience in looking after children, you are welcome to join our program. We want to create a diverse community in which each member contributes with the own talents and experience to offering the best child care services. No matter what professional experience you have, we are determined to form and support you in this nice mission of looking after the small ones,” said the Center “Partnership for Development”.
The program was conceived to offer the necessary knowledge of the legal processes needed for the person to formalize work in the field of child care. Through the agency of the Center’s courses, detailed information will be provided about the legal regulations and procedures for looking after children. After the information sessions, the participants who will want to start the formalization process in the field will be offered support by the CPD team when necessary.
The program will take place exclusively with physical presence. “The courses and practical support will be offered to physically attending persons. This enables us to communicate more efficiently and to respond to questions in real time. This aspect allows us to ensure the information is transmitted clearly and accessibly,” noted the CPD.
The formation course will last for a day and will be staged on two different days for two different groups of participants, with teaching in Romanian. The training will center on the current normative framework concerning the registration, organization and provision of individualized child care services. The courses will be held on October 16 and 17, 2023, with the possibility of choosing the suitable day.
The program is free for all participants. Those interested need to only complete a form.
