The Open Doors Day for the diaspora at the Government, thematic seminars, consultations with the diaspora and the Diaspora Mini-Football Cup were planned by the executive and the Bureau for Diaspora Relations to be staged on the occasion of the Diaspora Days during August 18-20, IPN reports.
In the first half of August 18, the Government will host the Open Doors Day where there will be presented the Diaspora Excellence Groups, the Bureau for Diaspora Relations’ activities to support the diaspora, the results of diaspora mapping and a dialogue between the Government and the Diaspora.
In the afternoon of August 18 and in the first half of August 19, there will be held discussions within thematic seminars. These will center on tourism, economic programs and opportunities to promote the return and reintegration of migrants. Consultations will be held on the national development strategy “Moldova 2030” and good practices of involving the diaspora in the development of native places in Moldova
Also on August 19, there will be mounted a fair and exhibition entitled “Moldova everywhere”. Thus, the diaspora will present the host country at a common stand by promotional materials, dishes and performances. On August 20, the Police Academy “Stefan cel Mare” will host the Diaspora Mini-Football Cup.
