The fourth round of election debates at the public television channel Moldova 1 and Radio Moldova will take place between March 23 and 26. By two election contenders will participate in the 10 programs at the radio station and 10 programs at the television channel – by three a day. Three runners will take part in the last program owing to the odd number of competitors, Info-Prim Neo reports. Debates on television will start at 19.45, 21.40 and 22.30, while on radio – at 8.00, 11.00 and 17.00. The fourth round starts on the day when the last program of the third round takes place. It was decided by draw that independent candidate Alexandr Lomakin and the Social-Political Movement “Actiunea Europeana” will participate in the debate program set for March 23, while the United Moldova Party will face the Communist Party in another program the same day. The debates scheduled for March 24 will be attended by the following pairs: the Republican Party and the Labor Union Party “Patria-Rodina”; the Ecologist Party “Green Alliance” of Moldova and independent candidate Stefan Uratu; independent Sergiu Banari and the Conservative Party. The Social-Democratic Party and the Moldova Noastra Alliance will meet on March 25. The same day, the Liberal Democratic Party will face the independent candidate Tatiana Tambalist, while independent Valentina Cusnir will meet another independent Victor Railean. The fourth round will end on March 26 with two programs. The Centrist Union of Moldova will participate in debates with the Liberal Party and the Democratic Party, while the “Pentru Neam si Tara” party will meet the Christian Democratic People’s Party. The third program held the same day will form part of the next round of election debates. The fifth round will begin on March 26 and end on March 31. The last debate programs will take place during April 1-3.
