The Government approved the program of country reintegration activities for 2020. This allows for the financing of 42 projects to develop and modernize the physical infrastructure of education institutions, to maintain buildings and aqueducts and to light localities in the Security Zone, IPN reports.

The projects were submitted by the local public authorities during January 1 - February 10. “The goal of the program is to finance projects to develop and modernized social institutions, to maintain buildings and aqueducts and to light localities in the Security Zone and other activities that contribute to building confidence between the people from both sides of the Nistru and to achieving the governmental country reintegration objective,” Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic stated in the Cabinet meeting.

The program envisions the provision of lump sums of 100,000 lei to the theoretical lyceums in Tiraspol, Bender, Grigoriopol, Dubasari, Rabnita, the boarding school in Bender and the secondary schools in Corjova and Roghi of Dubăsari district. A bus will be bought for transporting students of the Dubăsari Theoretical Lyceum “Mihai Eminescu”. The street lighting networks in Varnița village of Anenii Noi district and in Hârbovăț village of Anenii Noi district will be extended, while the similar system in Ursoaia village of Căușeni district will be repaired.

According to the Reintegration Bureau, 393 projects to the value of 111 million lei were financed in 2011- 2019.
