The program of country reintegration activities for 2018 was approved by the Cabinet in its April 25 meeting. This contains 49 projects that were presented by the local public authorities in the contest held during January 1 – February 10, 2018, IPN reports.
The projects are designed to develop and modernize education institutions, to rehabilitate or build segments of water pipelines, to light communities and to maintain sociocultural facilities.
Among the accepted projects are the provision of a lump sum of 100,000 lei to the Moldovan-administered, Romanian-language lyceums in Tiraspol, Bender, Grigoriopol, Dubasari, Rabnita, the boarding school in Bender and the secondary schools in Corjova and Roghi. The conditions at the kindergarten “Little Red Riding Hood” in Speia village of Anenii Noi district will be improved. Repair and revamp works will be performed at ten preschool institutions.
Street lighting will be installed in sector 2 of Varnita commune and in another 20 communities. The doors and windows of the Home of Culture in Dubasarii Vechi village of Criuleni district will be replaced and a playground will be put up in Talmaza village of Stefan Voda district.
The Government will allocate 15 million lei for implementing the chosen projects. According to the authorities, the program of country reintegration activities for 2018 will contribute to promoting the measures to build confidence between the people on both sides of the Nistru River.
