Program of Alexandr Lukashenko’s visit to Chisinau

The President of Belarus Alexandr Lukashenko will an official visit to Moldova on September 24-25, at the invitation of President Nicolae Timofti, IPN reports.

According to the presidential press service, the plane of the Belarusian delegation headed by President  Alexandr Lukashenko will land at the Chisinau International Airport at 2pm. At the State Residence, Alexandr Lukashenko will be met by Nicolae Timofti as part of an official ceremony. The two heads of state will have a tete-a-tete meeting and will then take part in the official discussions involving members of the two delegations.

Also at the State Residence, there will be signed a number of bilateral cooperation agreements. At 5:45pm, Nicolae Timofti and Alexandr Lukashenko will give a joint new conference.

At 10:30am on September 25, the Belarusian delegation will lay flowers at the monument to Ruler Stephan the Great and Holy. Afterward, Alexandr Lukashenko will have a meeting with Head of Parliament Igor Corman and leaders of parliamentary groups. At noon, the President of Belarus will meet with Prime Minster Iurie Leanca. Afterward, Lukashenko and Timofti will take part in the inauguration of the trading center “Keramin” in Chisinau.

 The delegation of Belarus will fly back to Minsk at 2pm.
