The pre-packed products that will meet the technical and metrological requirements will be marked with letter ‘e’. They will have right of way to the foreign markets, IPN reports, quoting regulations drafted by the Ministry of Economy.

The regulations refer to the nominal quantities of the pre-packed products. They include norms that will make the products intended for sale to correspond to the nominal quantity declared by the producer, importer or packer. According to the Ministry of Economy, this thing will increase consumers’ confidence in the sold products.
 

The draft regulations were submitted to the interested institutions and associations for public consultations.
