The UK has abolished all the import duties and tariff quotas for seven Moldovan agricultural products. There are: tomatoes, garlic, table grapes, apples, plums, grape juice, and cherries, IPN reports.
In a press release, the British Embassy in Chisinau said the agreement signed in May took effect on July 31 and is valid for an initial period of 12 months.
The agreement aims to offer Moldovan enterprises more opportunities for increasing goods exports and to support the Republic of Moldova and economic security in the region.
