In 2008, the weight of the vegetal produce in the total volume of agricultural products was 74.4% ( 58.1% in 2007), including grains and legumes – 25.0% (9.5%), technical cultures – 12.3% (8.1%), potatoes, vegetables and pumpkin plants – 12.4% (10.7%), fruit and grapes – 20.4% (24.3%).

The fall of the animal products in 2008 was caused by the significant decrease of the number of cattle in the second half of 2007 and the first half of 2008, because of the 2007 drought.
