The Pro Moldova Party will not compete in the snap parliamentary elections of July 11 as a contender. It will be on the people’s side and will follow the electoral programs, revealing fake news and deceitful promises, IPN quoted the leader of Pro Moldova Andrian Candu as saying in a news conference.
The politician said Pro Moldova was ready to join the electoral race and prepared its file for being submitted to the Central Election Commission, etc. But the current political confrontation is not a confrontation of ideas, professionalism or solutions for the citizens. These elections are nothing but a follow-up to the presidential elections – a confrontation between Maia Sandu and Igor Dodon, between two poles that struggle and divide the power.
“At these elections, we witness a struggle of conceits. There is no solution or program for what post-pandemic Moldova means. The competitors didn’t think about solutions for the people. These elections are held in a divided country that wants to believe that a new political class can be formed here,” stated Andrian Candu.
He noted that Pro Moldova will not run in elections, but will be on the people’s side. It will follow the electoral programs of contenders, the statements and will expose the false ones. Pro Moldova is the only party that chose to be in the opposition during the past two years, criticizing the government and presenting alternatives.
The politician also said that together with his team, he will carry out an active campaign to inform and mobilize the people so that everyone takes a correct and conscious decision on July 11. It is yet too early to call on the citizens to support a particular election contender.
