The Political Party Pro Moldova launches a platform to consult the citizens about the dismissal of the Gavrilița Government. Representatives of the party criticize the work done by the executive and say that even if the Premier has skills, she should step down. They noted they supported Maia Sandu in the campaign prior to the presidential elections.
“The Pro Moldova Party is a pro-European party. We supported Missis President Maia Sandu in the presidential elections. We also called on our supporters to vote for her and we want to further express our support as, besides things that possibly do not suit us, we see unprecedented openness to the Republic of Moldova at international level. We see how our country is treated and helped in the geopolitical context by the development partners,” Boris Foca, acting chairman of Pro Moldova, stated in a news conference hosted by IPN.
According to him, statistical data show that the country is now managed by one of the weakest governments after the declaring of Independence. Therefore, the party decided to launch an online campaign to collect signatures – a voting campaign on the dismissal of the Gavrilița Government.
“In this connection, we call on the population of the Republic of Moldova, on the citizens who feel responsible, on civil society, on our mates, on other parliamentary or extraparliamentary parties to promote the campaign to collect signatures in favor of the dismissal of the Gavrilița Government. “We are firmly convinced that during 30 to 60 days on average, we will collect several tens of thousands if not even hundreds of thousands of vote that will definitely counterbalance the 63 votes that opposed the no-confidence motion and kept this government. Our goal is to contribute to the removal of the government, to point to the existing deviations and to become involved to ensure the wellbeing of the Republic of Moldova.
