The 14 members of the parliamentary group Pro Moldova will support, without hesitation, any motion of no confidence against the current government, the group’s leader Andrian Candu announced in a news conference on July 15, being quoted by IPN.
“Things stand very badly in the Republic of Moldova. The situation worsens daily. The epidemiological situation also worsens. We daily see an increasing number of infections, including among doctors. We see that the authorities didn’t respect their promise to test all the healthcare workers. We continue to see hesitation in taking economic or social measures to support the people,” stated Andrian Candu.
He also referred to the “Dodon Leaves Campaign”, saying that about 16,000 signatures have been collected during nine days of its launch. The Socialists are trying to intimidate the volunteers and interfere in their work. The police do not become involved even when requests are made and this is regrettable. By such actions, the democratic processes in Moldova are compromised.
The MPs of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” proposed and signed a motion of no confidence against the Government led by Ion Chicu. The MPs of the Party of Action and Solidarity said they will decide whether to support the motion or not this weekend.
