The Pro Moldova Party on September 10 submitted the subscription lists with signatures in support of the party’s leader Andrian Candu for registering this as a contender for President to the Central Election Commission. The CEC has ten days to verify the collected signatures and register the candidate, IPN reports.
According to Adrian Candu, they collected over 25,000 signatures. “The struggle for the office of President will be harsh, but I will have the intelligence to be correct and not to go beyond the limits,” he said. The politician called on the Democratic Party, which announced its decision not to compete for the post of President, to support Pro Moldova’s candidate in the November 1 presidential elections.
Earlier, subscription lists to the CEC were submitted by the Our Party and the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”.
