Pro-Europa holds new rally
The civic forum Pro-Europa has announced the continuation of the public meetings in support of the Alliance for European Integration – 2. On Sunday, December 19, it will stage a new rally.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the head of the Union of Journalists of Moldova and one of the forum’s founders Valeriu Saharneanu said the event will be in essence transparent and open and will serve as an example of how to carry out talks for the political parties involved in the negotiations on the formation of the future government coalition.
The organizers expect that more than 6,000 people will come on Sunday in the square of the National Opera House – twice more attendees than in the December 12 meeting. The rally opens at 12.00.
Asked to comment on the reaction of the PDM, which described the meeting of December 12 as pressure exerted on the party in the negotiation process, Valeriu Saharneanu said that the Democratic Party forms part of the Alliance for European Integration and these actions in support of the Alliance cannot be regarded as actions aimed against the PDM.
The civic forum Pro Europa was founded ad-hoc on the initiative of a number of civil society organizations and public personalities. The members of the forum say they are convinced that the European integration can take place only by the political will of an Alliance for European Integration, for which most of the people voted in the November 28 elections.
Pro-Europa calls on the active and conscious people to take part in these public rallies and express democratically their European integration aspirations.
