Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Daniela Morari discussed the country’s priority reform agenda with the deputy chiefs of mission at the EU and U.S. Embassies in Moldova Wicher Slagter and Julie Stufft, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the deputy minister reiterated the importance attached to the appropriate implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU within the whole reformation process. The officials discussed the implementation of the measures defined in the priority reform action roadmap worked out following the EU Council’s conclusions of this February. They ascertained a high level of implementation of this document and reiterated the importance of maintaining the accelerated reformation pace after the July 31 deadline.
Confirming the commitment to ensure the continuity of the process, Daniela Morari underlined the importance of implementing and monitoring the commitments deriving from the Agreement. She noted that the efforts in the immediate future will be aimed at restoring the ordinary working agenda, without affecting the pace established in the first half of this year.
