The ballots for the November 3 runoff presidential election for polling stations located abroad started to be printed. The 839,200 ballots will be distributed to polling stations established outside the country, IPN reports.
The Central Election Commission said that out of 839,200 ballots, 768,850 will be in Romanian, 69,850 - in Russian, and 500 – in Gagauzian.
The price of a ballot is 0.35 lei, and the total value of the print run is about 291,000 lei. The ballots are printed on opaque (matte) steel blue paper, 14 cm in width and 12 cm in length.
Most of the ballots will go to Italy – over 241,000, Germany – 135,000, and for France – 94,200.
The fewest ballot papers will be sent to Japan – 300, China – 400, Latvia and the United Arab Emirates – by 500 ballots each.
