Prince Dimitrie Sturdza wishes to be Moldova’s emissary abroad. “I feel very Moldovan because I was born in Iasi,” he said, stressing that he can be Moldova’s emissary abroad as he does business in many countries. He made the proposal at a meeting with Prime Minister Vlad Filad on February 19, Info-Prim Neo reports. Dimitrie Surdza, who is the representative of one of the oldest aristocratic families in Moldova, expressed readiness to support Moldova. He said the Moldovan products, especially the wines, should be better promoted on the European markets.
