Prime Minister Pavel Filip had a telephone conversation with his Romanian counterpart Sorin Grindeanu. The two conferred on the evolution of the bilateral relations and voiced hope that the political dialogue and commercial-economic and cultural cooperation between the two states will continue to intensify, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, Pavel Filip expressed his gratitude to the Romanian state for the constant support provided to the Republic of Moldova in its modernization and European integration efforts. In this regard, the Premier mentioned especially the support provided in aligning Moldova to the European standards and values, in implementing the association agenda with the EU, energy projects, cultural, educational and social programs.
Pavel Filip also expressed his confidence that the bilateral cooperation will continue to develop, saying he is ready to closely cooperate with the new governmental team of Romania so as to fully implement the initiated projects and to also launch new projects that will contribute to increasing the living standards of the Moldovans and to the continuous rapprochement with the family of European nations.
