Prime Minister Vlad Filat sent a message of compassion to his Kazakh opposite number Serik Ahmetov after the plane accident that happened in Shymkent, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release of the Government, the Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the people of Kazakhstan, to the relatives and friends of the victims of the air crash, which caused the death of all passengers and staff members. “The news about the crash of the military plane in southern Kazakhstan was heard with great sadness in Moldova. I express my compassion to the Kazakh people and please send my sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims of this tragedy”, reads the message. The air crash that killed 27 people took place on Tuesday, December 25. The An-72 plane belonged to the security company KNB. It transported several high officials of the Kazakh customs authority.
