“Only a pro-European mayor, only Lilian Carp together with the local team, together with Parliament, together with the Government, can transform this city into a true European capital”, stated Igor Grosu, Speaker of Parliament and also president of the Action and Solidarity Party, during an event in support of Lilian Carp’s bid for mayor of Chisinau.

The PAS leader declared that “everyone wants a European capital”. “We all want a clean city, a comfortable city, a city without traffic congestions. We want the business people of this city to stop being harassed”, said Igor Grosu.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean also participated. “To attract the much-needed investment, the fundamental investments in infrastructure, in the traffic management system, in the water treatment system, in the waste disposal and processing system, we need funds that come from our friends. It’s just that our friends will finance these projects on the condition that our municipalities are headed by mayors and councilors of a reliable, honest team”, declared Dorin Recean.

“Dear resident of Chisinau, I come before you today to thank you for opening your doors and your thoughts to us. Because you have been receptive and confirmed to us the commitments that the PAS team made in this campaign are real. There are problems that require urgent action, problems that we face every day. I have behind me the most capable, dedicated and professional team, the only one that can and will solve these problems”, declared Lilian Carp.

At the end of the event, members of the PAS team went through the center of the capital to inform the citizens about the electoral program of the PAS candidate for Chisinau mayor.
