The first official visit by Prime Minister Pavel Filip in 2017 will be made to Kiev, Ukraine. The Premier will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Groysman and with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, IPN reports, quoting the Moldovan Government’s press service.

Among the subjects that will be discussed in the meetings are the bilateral economic relations, protection of the environment on the Nistru River and the Transnistrian conflict. The Moldovan authorities said they are ready for a constructive dialogue and to develop the partnership between the two states.

Pavel Filip’s visit to Kiev will last for one day – February 13. The officials will present the results of the meetings in news conferences.
