Prim-Plan Studio awards special prize to movie in Sevastopol festival

The company Prim-Plan Studio, belonging to Moldovan director Valeriu Jereghi, awarded a special prize and a diploma to the movie “Little Soldier Cjao Gan”, produced by Chinese movie-makers and presented in the fourth edition of only festivals of movies, radio and TV shows dedicated to World War Two. The jury was chaired by Igor Prokopenko, the deputy director of Russian Ren-TV, Info-Prim Neo reports. Valeriu Jereghi, also a member of the jury, says 136 movies and documentaries were displayed by producers from Russia, Azerbaijan, Israel, Latvia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, China, the Czech Republic, Cuba, Belarus. The director says «Little Soldier Cjao Gan» impressed him with its drama and the way of rendering its drama. Valeriu Jereghi says the award was handed for the best direction and montage in the cinema section. The Chinese proposed Prim-Plan Studio possible cooperation in making movies. The festival was organized by the Radio & TV Eurasian Academy, which accepted Valeriu Jereghi as a member. The edition lasted from May 8 to 14 in the Ukrainian city of Sevastopol.
