Prices of products and services went up in April
The average consumer prices in April rose by 0.3% from the previous month, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the National Bureau of Statistics.
Dietary eggs grew dearer by 6.9%, mutton – by 6.0%, fresh vegetables – by 5.2%, fresh fruit – by 2.2%. The prices rose especially before the spring holidays.
Among nonfood products, medicaments got dearer by 1.8%, footwear – by 1.3%, fuel – by 0.7%.
The prices of services provided for the population increased by 0.1% on average.
At the same time, the prices of pasta and bakery products, milk and dairy products, fats, vegetal oil, sugar and certain electrical appliances and clothes fell in April.
