Gasoline COR 95 and diesel fuel will be cheaper as from Wednesday. According to the National Agency for Energy Regulation, the price ceiling for a liter of gasoline for July 13 is 31.69 lei, while for a liter of diesel fuel is 29.36 lei, IPN reports.

The highest retail prices of the main types of oil products of standard type are set by the Agency in accordance with the methodology for calculating and applying the prices of oil products.

The fuel prices started to decline in July after they had grown constantly since last autumn. For comparison, a liter of gasoline COR 95 at the beginning of last September cost 20.23 lei, while a liter of diesel fuel –16.42 lei.

The liquefied petroleum gas for which the National Agency for Energy Regulation does not set price ceilings today costs almost 17 lei/liter. In September 2021, a liter of liquefied petroleum gas was sold for about 13 lei.
