The diesel fuel price over the last four weeks decreased by 1.17 lei/liter, while the price of gasoline COR 95 – by 0.73 lei/liter. Thus, pump prices in the period declined below 21 lei/liter for diesel fuel and below 25 lei/liter for gasoline, IPN reports.

The National Agency for Energy Regulation said the declines are due to the further decrease in Platts quotations despite the pessimistic expectations formulated after senior officials in Slovakia and Hungary expressed their dissatisfaction with the recent blocking of transportation through Ukraine of oil belonging to the Russian company Lukoil.

A liter of standard diesel fuel in the next three days will cost a maximum of 20.80 lei/liter (-0.05 lei), while a liter of gasoline COR 95 – 24.56 lei/liter (-0.03 lei).
