In 2016 the mandatory health insurance premium in fixed form will remain at the same level as in 2015 – 4,056 lei. The persons who insure themselves medically benefit from discounts of 50% to 75% of the premium’s value until March 31, IPN reports.

According to the National Health Insurance Company, the founders of private companies and other persons who do not work and are not medically insured by the Government can pay half of the mandatory health insurance premium, which is 2,028 lei. The payment can be made at the branches of Moldova’s Post Offices and the local offices of the National Health Insurance Company.

The farmland owners pay 1,014 lei for the policy, which is 25% of the health insurance premium. The policy can be paid at the local offices of the National Health Insurance Company.
