Gasoline COR 95 on Friday will be sold at the pump for no more than 23 lei per liter. The National Agency for Energy Regulation announced a reduction of 0.09 lei for tomorrow, IPN reports.

In the case of standard diesel fuel, the reduction is of 0.04 lei. Thus, the price per liter will be 19.76 lei.

According to the Agency, fuel prices are currently at the lowest level in the last year. Over the last weeks, which saw consecutive declines, the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel decreased by about 2 lei/liter.

“The current fuel prices are influenced both by the lower level of Platts quotations, which reached about $750/tonne for gasoline and $700/tonne for diesel fuel, and by the more accentuated appreciation of the national currency against the US dollar,” noted the Agency.
