From 1 January 2015 and until the adoption of the 2015 Health Insurance Funding Law, the fixed-price mandatory health insurance policy will cost the same as today – 4,056 lei.
The National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) has announced it approved a provisional budget. Besides the old price, the Company also kept the 50% and 75% discounts.
Founders of individual enterprises, landlords and tenants and other groups who are not employed and not insured by the Government will pay 2,028 lei, which is 50% of the full premium. It can be paid at any Moldova Mail office or at CNAM’s territorial offices.
Owners of farmland will pay only 1,014 lei, or 25% of the full amount. Notaries, lawyers and private bailiffs will pay the full amount of 4,056 lei.
The premiums are subject to revision with the adoption of the 2015 Law.
To make sure people can pay for their mandatory health insurance policies, CNAM offices will work on January 2 and 9 as well.
