Poland’s President Andrzej Duda will pay an official visit to Moldova this week. The official will arrive in Chisinau on Thursday, August 26, where he will meet with President Maia Sandu and other high-ranking officials, the Moldovan President’s Office announced.
The next day, on August 27, Andrzej Duda will attend festivities dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Moldova’s independence.
Also on August 27, Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky will join the company. Together with President Sandu, the three guests of honor will attend festivities in the Great National Assembly Square, named so after a series of mass gatherings that culminated with the Proclamation of Independence from the USSR three decades ago.
Later, the four presidents will have a number of bilateral meetings as well as a conference all together, which will culminate with press statements.
