President’s family donates national costumes

The family of President Igor Dodon offered 30 national costumes for Moldovan citizens who are in Italy and Russia in response to the multiple requests made by these to the Head of State. Ten costumes were transmitted to Moldova’s Embassy in Rome, while 20 to Moldova’s Embassy in Moscow and to Surgut town, IPN reports.

‘”We are convinced that these costumes will be useful, especially now that the winter holidays are coming. We express our gratitude to all the Moldovans who are far from home and promote the authentic national values through involvement in the social life of the host country. The traditions, customs and national costume are the elements that make a nation eternal,” said the presidential press service.
