President Maia Sandu signed the decrees to appoint Valeriu Chiveri as Moldova’s Ambassador to Ukraine and Eugeniu Revenco as Moldova’s Ambassador to Spain, IPN reports.
Valeriu Chiveri served as Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Austria in 2010-2013 and as head of Moldova’s Permanent Delegation to the OSCE. He also held the post of Moldova’s Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna. In 2013-2015, he served as deputy minister of foreign affairs, while since 2019 until present he has headed the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Eugeniu Revenco has held office of secretary general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration as from November 2019. In 2015-2019, he served as Ambassador to Latvia. He studied for his master’s degree at the Institute for European Studies of the Brussels Free University.
