The repair works on the Presidential Building will be completed by the Independence Day celebrated on August 27, as I was announced earlier, but the inauguration ceremony was postponed, IPN reports.

In a posting in social media, Presider Igor Dodon, after a meeting with the new Ambassador of Turkey in Chisinau Gürol Sökmensüer, wrote that the repaired Presidential Building will be inaugurated in September or October, when the visit to Moldova by the Turkish President Recep Erdogan is arranged.

“Only several technical details remained, including the outfitting of the building with furniture that was also bought with financing from the Turkish side,” wrote Igor Dodon.

The repair works started in the second half of this January. The building was to be inaugurated in May, when President Recep Erdoğan was to come to Moldova, but the visit was put off.
