According to him, the Republic of Moldova has rather active economic relations with Turkey and there are many companies with Turkish investments in Moldova. “It would be stupid to say that the Turkish state is not an important strategic partner,” said the adviser.

Jurist Sergey Mishin noted the presence of the Gagauz people on Moldova’s territory is one of the reasons of the relations of friendship between Moldova sand Turkey. The relations with Turkey will always be an advantage for Moldova because development models can be borrowed from this state, in such areas as tourism and agriculture.

Political commentator Vitalie Andrievski said the relations with Turkey are very important for the Republic of Moldova because this state is one of the most serious partners and a very serious potential investor. “There are chances that Turkish investments will come to indifferent areas in Moldova, including road building. The Government is working out different cooperation plans with Turkey and I think this is for the benefit of the Republic of Moldova,” he stated.
