The president Vladimir Voronin mentioned about the need for a capital restoration of the second floor of the raion creation Centre for children and teenagers from Cimislia, as a result of which the areas destined to the instruction of children, will double. In this respect the head of state assured the administration of the centre that all the necessary support will be offered, calling on the administration of the raion to participate in this project. The press service of the president, cited by Info-Prim Neo informs about the visit of the head of state which took place on Saturday, December 16 at this institutions. The beneficiaries of this institution are disabled children, orphans and other disadvantaged categories of children. According to the press release, the president emphasised the fact that the state authorities undertake measures meant to improve the situation of disabled persons, reiterating in this respect the opportunity of expanding the day centres for disabled children and teenagers. Vladmi Voronin said that a close analyse is necessary in order to create a plan on the social integration of the representatives of this category. As the local radio station Pro Media informs, the president received gifts made up by children. The president offered candies to the children on the occasion of the Christmas holydays. The same source says that 25 disabled children from the raion are offered the needed services in the Centre. The director of the Centre Cristina Arabagi says that 200 disabled children live in Cimislia.
