President Maia Sandu had a meeting with resident ambassadors of EU member states. The official told about the progress made and the obstructions encountered in the process of reforming the justice sector and reiterated that despite the challenges, the clearing of the justice sector of corruption will continue, IPN reports.
The presidential press service said that in the discussions, President Sandu thanked the diplomats for the support offered by the governments they represent and the EU institutions for contributing to managing the multiple crises experienced by the Republic of Moldova.
“The EU’s support helps us to stand by the citizens in these difficult times,” noted Maia Sandu.
The official reiterated the firm commitment to continue the reforms that are designed to improve the living conditions of citizens and to help advance on the path of European integration, approving of the contribution made by the partner states to the Moldova Support Platform.
